I love Hibachi but its way too many cals.. so today for lunch, i made a homemade version of it. In a pan i put 1 tsp of omega oil, 1tsp of minced garlic, then i put 1 egg (scrambled) & 1 cup of uncle ben's ready brown rice & finished it w/ 4 drops of soy sauce. Is THAT BAD?? it was delicious! Now im gonna want it every day lol

Count the calories and nutrients of each ingredient, add it all up and see how it fits on your diet. Only you can say if its good or bad for you.

You could cut calories even more by subbing the egg for two egg whites (or 1/4 cup egg whites from a carton). Rice is usually pretty calorie heavy, but everything in moderation!
  • the cals were only 305 so i thought for lunch, that wasnt bad at all lol

If you're comfortable eating it a lot - then go ahead. Just make sure you're accounting for everything in your food diary. And watch the sodium. If you're okay with it - then by all means... go ahead and eat it! :)

Sounds fairly well balanced. Add a little green salad perhaps? I might give that a try. It sounds really nice :)
