I am trying to lose 4lbs by next Wednesday.

Drink lots of water. Eat healthy and exercise.

I know if I lean a little to the left on my scale it will take off an extra pound or two.

If I get off and then get back I mine usually says 2 pounds less.0 -
Aside from the usual water and exercise, trying skiping the carbs at dinner until then. If I need to feel thinner quick....I just eat lean protein and/or salad/veges for dinner and I swear it helps the tummy. Not sure if it really helps or is all mental. :happy: It's hard for me as a rice/potatoes kind of gal though!0

losing 4 lbs in a weeks is pretty unlikely usless you have a ton of weight to lose. The only way I can think of is to literally starve yourself and dehydrate yourself. Obviously you shouldn't do that and anything you lose won't stay gone anyway. Just keep eating healthy and exercising and it will come off in good time.0

Body builders will actually cut carbs for a short time before a competition. It does help you appear leaner.0 -
Well the 4lbs is because I have to go the OBGYN and I know she will say to lose more weight than I already have. Not wanting to be unhealthy and not eat or dehydrate myself at all.
As some of you kow I am trying to get pregnant so the more weight I lose the better of I will be.
I also have a party on the 13th that I would love to fit into my old seven jeans that are like a 27 waist almost there just cant button them.0 -
If the doctor complains, let them know that you've already lost a couple pounds the healthy way and are working on more.
Drink a lot of water and don't eat too much sodium between now and then. I don't know if that'll make you lost weight but at least it gets rid of bloat.0 -

I have been drinking water and lots and veggies.

Hey, those glasses of wine might help you get pregnant. LOL
You'll be fine. It is when you get pregnant & gain 5# in one week at the end of your pregnancy that the OB's mouth might hit the floor...or was that just me? :laugh:0 -

I know this is probably TMI about my good friend, but her & her dh tried for nearly 2 years. Gave up hope b/c the doc said that she needed surgery before she could get pregnant (LOTS of cysts on her ovaries). They went out & she got wasted drunk (she hadn't been drinking since they started trying), went home, yadda yadda yadda...9 months later Kyra was born. :laugh: LOL You never know what God's plan is.0

I try. :blushing: I've found (especially since having kids) that if you focus on the positive or the "what can we make out of this situation," you'll be better off & less stressed. Not always the easiest to do & I don't always practice what I preach, but I do try! Thanks. :smooched: :flowerforyou:0
