    You just need to find someone like you. It looks as though a lot of ladies on this board would really appreciate your cleanliness ethic. But if you have kids, the game changes. You need to ask yourself what really matters. A perfectly clean home or a comfortable, happy home. Children who feel that they constantly fail to please their dad will not have happy lives.

    You sound like my kind of man!!! I live in a male dominated household and I wish they were all like you. Seriously though, CLEAN is good...I am and have always been extremely houseproud...to the point that I have to stop myself from cleaning other people's houses when I go in them! Clean home, clean mind, clear conscience...thats my motto.

    If it is affecting your relationships, and you say it is, it is a problem. I agree with some of the others--take a serious look at OCD. This is not insignificant.
