Truths I've discovered

I've been doing this for two weeks, and have come face to face with some truths about myself:

I really just cannot eat gluten.

Gluten free does not mean calorie free.

GF Pizza, along with bagels and lox, are huge calorie bombs.

I have to exercise every day, whether I want to or not.

I do not want to exercise every day.

I wish I gained weight in my butt instead of my abdomen, so I wouldn't have to see my abdominal pudge in the mirror every day.

I can't have more than 2 alcoholic drinks. More, and I get trashed, in addition to packing on the empty calories.

I can't eat a late dinner unless I want the scale to reflect it the next morning.

What truths have you discovered about yourself?

This is SO true for me! Someone asked me when I was due. I'm not pregnant, just fat- and only in the front

    My truths:

I love going to the gym

Macaroni and cheese is my supreme weakness

I don't miss cookies that much

I hate doing ab workouts, even though I need them the most

I miss beer more than I miss cookies

I look forward to eating vegetables (most of the time)

    That time is short
That procrastinating just wastes that time
That I do have will power and self control
That complete strangers are prepared to support me :)

I think lean meats, fruit, vegtables, nuts and seeds are gluten free. Have you tried those?

I hate my little lower belly!
I love potatoes and Mac n cheese!
I haven't had chips for a long time and that's amazing for me!
I use to work out but it's to hot to do that right now!
I wish my lower belly would go to my butt and just little in my chest!
I been having more energy but don't know what to do!
So far I like this site!
I miss drinking my diet coke with spiced rum!

I've learned that I seek comfort foods (sweets, sodas, chips, etc.) when I am stressed or sad.

I feel better about myself when I exercise and eat healthy.

    I am worth it!

I sometimes eat out of pure boredom and not because I am hungry.

I am stronger than I give myself credit for.

    Food doesn't heal internal wounds.

My whole body will thin out before my arms do.

Zumba is toning my waist an incredible amount.

My hips are probably always going to be super wide. (That's alright, I can work with it.)

    ME ME ME my turn!
The truth is I have learned that maybe I could be allergic to gluten because of my eczema.
truth is I love working out specifically because of the sweat & the high I get afterwards
truth is that I learn so much about myself by talking to other people or listening to them.
and truth is that this site has truly saved me.

I can relate to some of yours!!

    Mine are:

I feel so much better both mentally and physically when I eat healthy and exercise
Life is more positive when I make good decisions
I can find other ways to deal with stress other than with food (still working on this)
I am beautiful inside and deserve good things and people in my life (still working on this)
I enjoy being outside in nature and love to exercise and need to workout even when I am not motivated
That if I keep this healthy life up that in a year I can start participating in life again!!!!!!!
