Set up and entering exercise

Does it matter what I enter for exercise when I set up MFP? They ask the question: How many times a week do you plan on exercising? Does that get factored into the daily calories? I don't understand the purpose of the question (I don't disagree with it, just wondering how it changes things).

    No. Exercise goals are used only as a guide and encouragement for you to do so. That is why you need to eat the calories you burn with exercise.
