I am bored with my workouts and training so I began pilates. I am actually very excited about Pilates and I go three times a week. The only thing is I also train Monday, Wednesday, and Friday which are the same days the Pilates classes are available. I do not want to cancel my trainer because he is already paid for so I train and go to a pilates class afterwards. I just hope I am not over doing it. Any advise?

Make sure you take rest days....I don't really see a problem with it because they are two different types of exercise and hit your body differently.....But that's just me.....

I am not sure what you do with your trainer, but if you're doing anything other than Pilates, then stick with it :)

As long as nothing is bothering you, you're fine. You're not doing it every day. You're doing it with a day of rest in between.

I agree you are doing different exercises.

Just remember to eat back half to all of your exercise calories.

Listen to your body. If you're not overly sore the next day, then i think it is fine. Eat back your calories and take it easier on your off days. Let your trainer know what you're doing and they can target different areas than your Pilates class

I actually workout 6 days a week. So on monday, wednesday, and friday, I would be doing double workouts.

I think as long as you keep on top of the obvious - food, water, rest as you feel needed - double workouts is fine. Just listen to your body.
