Ok, I need some advice.
I've been on this platou for the last month, I'm doing my daily workout (Insanity), I'm eating healthy, having a cheat day once in a while, drinking tons of water, and haven't seen not an ounce change on the scale.
What's going on? This is frustrating
Please heeeelllpppp!!!!

I took a look at your food diary and you have between 200-600 calories leftover every day. You need to eat more. Aim to get the number as close to zero as possible. It's very possible that your body is starving and starvation isn't how you'll lose weight. Gotta eat to lose! Your body has to get enough nutrition or it won't be comfortable burning fat and losing weight.

Try getting those calories as close to zero as possible for a few weeks and see what happens. :)

Try upping your calories and increasing your strength training. That can help a plateau.

I have to constantly "Shock" my body...if I've been working intense, I take a couple days off, or just walk a couple miles...if I've had it pretty easy, I take it more intense. Usually does the trick for me. If you're not taking days to rest, your body will start to save every calorie you eat thinking it needs to store it for energy because you're working so hard. Maybe take it easy for a couple days, against every desire to work out...see if you lose a little. Good luck!

Took a quick look at your diary and while I know most don't want to hear it....you need to be eatting more.....It looks as though you are not eatting your exercise calories! I know at first I lost weight but when I hit my first plateau I started to eat 30% of my exercise calories....as I have moved on I have eatten more and more of them and found when I started to eat more and more of them.....I started to lose again!!!

I realize no one wants to hear it as it does not make a whole lot of sense....eat more...you will start to lose again!

I took a look at your diary for the last few days, and it seems that you are not eating nearly enough calories. Believe it or not, upping your caloric intake can really increase metabolism, and therefore, weight loss. I think you should be getting around 1800 calories worth of good food a day.

    Consider the following :

    1. are your workouts building muscle? You could be losing fat and gaining muscle.
    2. try zig zaging your calories (example.. if you have a goal of 1700 a day, then have some days at 1400 and some at 2100). Just make sure that you calories for the week equal what you are normally have
    3. Highly suggest making sure you are taking a multi vitamin
    4. switch up your workout a bit. try zumba, walking, swimming, elliptical, etc.
    5. if youre eating back all your excercise calories- try eating back only half
    6. Ensure you are always hitting your calorie goal :o)Body in starvation mode can be really bad!

    Hope this helps :o)

    Hi ,
Could somebody clarify , when we say : try to eat more , to get close to zero , what calculation you exactly referring to ? Is it the classic My Fitness Pal formula : Goal - Food + Exercise or just simply Food ( intake ) - Calories burned ?

Based on the My Fittness Pal formula I am ending up having 1000 plus surplus , by averaging 1300 calories as food and doing lot of exercise a day resukting 1000 exercise calories . Having my Goal calorie still very low 1600 it gives me a lot of surplus - 1000 plus.

Coming back to my question , do you mean to ' eat up ' the entire surplus ( or a significant ) part of it , when you say eat more to get close to zero to overcome the plateau issue ?
