warrior dash and bad weather

Does anyone know if warrior dash is called off for thunderstorms?
On their website, it says they do not cancel for rain, but they did cancel one in Louisiana due to a tornado, so I'm wondering about this middle ground.
I am doing the one in new york tomorrow (so excited!!!) but slightly concerned that I am going to drive 2.5 hours and it won't be happening since it is forecasted to thunderstorm all day.
anyone know from experience?
