Silly question, but

If I have a calorie allowance of 1200 a day, and burn off say 400 doing exercise, does that mean I am meant to still eat the 1200 or do I now have to eat 1600?
When I exercise, it tells me I've earned more of a calorie allowance. But does that mean I should eat more than my 1200, or keep to the 1200?

You're looking for 1200 after exercise.0

In short, yes, you're intended to eat the extra calories. These threads should help:

at 1200 calories you are really at starvation mode where your body will store your food as fat. plus the 400 calories will essentially only be putting you at roughly 800 calories. so you will need to up your calories some.0

Yes you should eat more to keep burning calories. If your're not hungry don't worry if you have a deficit of 500 according to what I've read on this site or somewhere you'll still lose weight. Must eat 1200 calories minimum though don't subtract 400 for exercise.0

Okay, thank you for clearing that up!0
