Hi this is my first time actually interacting on here........get to the point! Well, I've been on a Plateau for about 6months or so now and have been doing all sorts of stuff (excercising for 2-3hrs a day, laxatives, REALLY reduced calorie intake-all of which i know are not good) to get over it, but i can't. In fact, Im bloating like all the time. I dont know for sure how much I weigh but I think it's around 130-138. Im 5'2" and would LOVE to weigh around 120lbs-so i don't really have that much to go
. I was looking on the internet about plateaus and fat blockers when i came across Proactol. everything seems great about it but I am on a budget. so the questions are: Does this product really work? and Should I use my money on it?
Any help would be AWESOME!
thank you!

So you tried all the other extreme ways of loosing weight and it didn't work. So now you want to try this?
There is no magic pill.
If you need help with dieting and exercise, you can ask me but it does not fall into your lap. Don't try another fad diet/product just to fail again.0 -

If you know those are not good choices, why do them?
Try eating a healthy amount of calories while eating exercise calories back.0 -
I know nothing about proactol...what I do know is that you are ALWAYS much better off doing things without unnatural aids.
Switch up the type of foods you're eating (more soluble fiber, natural foods, less sodium); the type of exercise you're doing (take a kickboxing class or hot yoga); and try not to stress about it-stress can also inhibit weight loss. Laxatives and a severely reduced caloric intake can be very damaging. In fact, too low of a calorie intake can sabotage your weight loss by making your body go into starvation mode and store whatever food you are giving it.
Your body may just be very comfortable with where it is. Keep in mind that although your weight may not be changing...your body could still very well be restructuring itself, especially if you are exercising 2-3 hours per day.
Honestly, if you're worried about spending money on something that might not work, schedule an appointment with a certified trainer/nutritionist. I don't know what I would do without mine
Good luck and give yourself some space...just my 2 cents!0 -

I do them because being "healthy" doesn't work and I get desperate sometimes. My measurements are 35.5-26 (26.5-27 when im bloated)-36 and I need to lose about an inch and a half around the waist (if more or anywhere else that is fine). I just dont like the way i look and feel most of the time. And I dont have the time to get a personal trainer or nutritionist due to going back to college and my job and workouts.
and I dont understand what you mean by the second part of you response: "eating excercise calories back"?0 -
If things like this really worked, there wouldn't be anyone who is overweight. These companies just want to make a buck off of people who are desperate & want a quick fix. The only way to lose weight & actually maintain it - is to do it by watching your calories & exercising; it IS possible, & people CAN & DO lose a lot of weight just by doing those 2 things. Not everyone here has a lot of weight to lose; I have seen many that have the same amount as you to lose, & less. You're not going to find very many people here [if any at all] who will think this is a good idea.
You say the "healthy way" doesn't work for you; can you elaborate?0 -
Ive been watching my calories and excercising very faithfully and the weight just doesn't come off as fast as it used to. I was told from someone who actually did it that going on a VERY restrictive diet (like 600-800 cals a day) would get me back on track but it didn't help either. im just maintaining and stressing over it because ive been needing to go the final mile for half a year.....oh, and i have switched up my diet because i used to be a vegan and now im just a pescetarian to get more protein, but nothing happens-except muscle definition in my arms (from i dont know what) and tired legs.0

Don't waste your money on this stuff. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is to work with your body and eat a healthy diet that you can maintain. From what you posted, it sounds like you are working against your body. Excessive exercise, laxatives, severely reduced calorie diets are unhealthy and will cause your body to hold onto every pound. These behaviors will end up making you ill and could very well land you in the hospital. Instead of wasting your money on some "miracle pill", spend it on quality food. The weight came on slowly, what makes you think it won't come off slowly? What concerns me though is that, on your profile, you wrote "I want to love myself". That made me sad. You are worthy of your and everyone else's love no matter what you look like. Please tell yourself that every day.0
