I have used both and the iPhone is exceptionally better!0

I had a Blackberry for years, switched to Samsung Fascinate and now am using iphone. I personally hate the iphone and can't wait to switch back. The Samsung was so much more user friendly and I could sync my calendar at work. We have set up the iphone 3 times with the sync and it still doesn't work properly. Was on the phone with Apple for 2 hours and all they did was completely wipe out my calendar.0

IPHONE!!! The 2 aren't even comaparable!!! I thought the BB was the best thing ever when I upgraded from a flip phone but boy once I got an Iphone it was like night and day!! I lost my Iphone and had to use a BB again for 6 months and It was the worst thing ever!!! I'm so happy to have my Iphone back!!!0

Neither....... Samsung Galaxy SII for Android instead0

*Droid*
I have a HTC and love it. But it's 2 yrs old and outdated. I'm getting the Google Nexus next, I'm excited for it!
We asked the salesman about a smartphone for grandma and he said to get her the iPhone because it's easy to use :-) But I love that first week with a new phone, figuring it out and seeing all the new cool things it does!0 -
Android. So much more ability to customize the phone to you. Android is actually more widely used than iOS currently (however iPhone is more popular). Hardware also turns over faster, meaning odds are you are going to get the latest tech if you buy high end Androids. Besides, it's Google. And Google rocks!!!
But if you have to choose from an iPhone or Blackberry, choose iPhone.
Last I heard BB is down to 11% market share and there are rumors of it getting bought. Not good if you need support in the future.0 -
Droids for the win0

DROID! I got a Droid 3 in March of last year and I absolutely love it! I have dropped it numerous times and even fell in the river with it in my pocket. I have yet to make an insurance claim. I am seriously thinking about the Droid 4 for my upgrade. I love the slide out keyboard.0

None of them!
Android is taking over!0 -
I just went from BB to an iPhone. It's overwhelming but I'm sure I'll like it soon.
I LOVE Facetime though! I saw my little nephew (who lives 3 1/2 hours away) last night using it..0 -
iPhone ... And iPhone are good for work and school stuff. My mom said her the iPhone is perfect for work and she emails all day long on it too... I even do my homework or study off my phone... iPhone 4 or... 5 whenever it does come out.0

iPhone, not Blackberry and def. not Android0

Firstly had Samsung Jets8000 which was ok..then had a HTC thought it was AMAZING....then bought a Iphone 4 and its just destroyed all my previous thoughts on other phones. Will NEVER go back to another phone..I my Iphone !
OH has one to which is great for free messaging etc. not just BBM which sounds like a teenagers thing LOL0 -
iPhone. And this is coming from a BlackBerry user!0
-
Iphone of course!! Blackberry sales are plummeting. I'd go for an iphone if not an android.0

Love my Iphone and I love my MFP app.0

BB are doomed to become obsolete very soon. If you want a cell with lots of apps, iPhone all the way.
Now, since iPhones are from apple, and Android is from Google, you should consider the Banana phone

My husband has an iphone, it's pretty nice but i strongly prefer android. I have a samsung galaxy s.0

I have both, blackberry for work (hate it - the phone, not work) and iPhone for fun. Get the iPhone!0

Also, to clarify, this phone would be mainly for work.
I've never had an Android phone, so I know almost nothing about their phones. Will take a look into them and see what's available in Germany. Just saw the Galaxy S II is €80.0 -
Do not get a Droid! I am now on my 4th phone in 4 months! This one (Droid 3) actually has a REAL keyboard so at least I am spared the kookiness of the terrible virtual keyboard that routinely invents its own language... but... there is stil a lot of flakiness with apps disappearing, the screen freezing, the battery taking 24 hrs to charge.... : (
That's unfortunate. I've had my droid 3 for about a year & have never had any of those problems. It's my 1st smartphone & I'll never go back to a dumb one.0 -
Should your work require you to view attachments alot via email I would recommend the iPhone, I have a BB(Work) and it's horrible for this, thus why I may get upgraded this year..on their dime of course...
What model BB is it and what OS is installed. My BB has OS 7.1, connected to the company BB server. I can view all sorts of attachments just fine, I can view network drives to view and attach files, turn my Out Of Office notification on/off, and view calendars for co-workers when setting appts. iPhone can't do any of that.0 -

you crack me up0 -
I hate Blackberry so much. My bf has one for work and it's horrible.
I love my iPhone, probably a little too much. I used to be an Android girl but I caved and admitted iPhones are better.0 -
I have had both and would go with the iphone0
-
Samsung Galaxy S2.
so much better than the iphone in every area with the exception of the camera0 -
android.
i hate my iphone. the only reason i got it was that at the time, android was new and there werent many apps for it.
now all apps come out for both android and iphone.
i have 1 month left before i can get rid of this POS.
i hate being restricted by Apple. I hate that they can deny an app from being made available simply because they dont like it (it happened to a friend of mine, they said "it was too much like an interface" so they denied it).
i hate having to use itunes to put a new song on it.
i hate that i cant use it as a portable hard drive.
i hate that in order to make my own ringtone i have to go through a whole load of crap.
as for BB. i havent used it before. a mate as a BB tablet and i had a quick look. looks ok but the app store is pretty empty.
edit: Iphone doesnt allow flash. this means a lot of websites wont be visible. android does. another example of apple dictation
edit 2: android is an OS, not a phone. so you have a big range of phones to choose from if you go for android. iphone is just that. also, iphones have a proprietry link cable. so if you lose it, you have to get another one. androids will generally use mini or micro usb. the same cable that comes with pretty much all digital cameras and external hard drives.0 -
iPhone. I had a Blackberry and it sucked. When they had those outages back in October I had no email or texts for about 2 weeks. That won't happen on any other device. It happens on BB because they have a server that gets that information then pushes to the BB. All others do not have an intermediary server like that.0
