What do you do when you don't feel like eating?? Normally I have a really good appetite but Yesterday I didn't really until the end of the day, I thought maybe it was because I was nervous about something (Basically spending an hour being questioned).. I did make it to my calorie goal, but Today I just feel "blah".. I've only been awake for about an hour, but normally I'd have eaten breakfast by now. I just don't feel like it. I'm not hungry and I think it I ate I'd end up feeling sick.

What do you do on days like this??

Good morning. If you ate late last night, that may be the reason you don't feel so hungry this morning. You should still eat though, something small to spur your apetite, a serving of yogurt, a palmful of unsalted nuts, a piece of fruit, a slice of whole grain toast and an ouce of cheese or TB of peanut butter.

Do EAT something, because when you don't you're taking the risk of eating unhealthy foods later in the day to fill the void OR you're just on the path of undereating for the entire day.

Eat when you are hungry. Just make it healthy and don't go over board at one sitting.

Only eat when your hungry. That way you maintain ur diet and don't get off track. Some people eat just cuz they feel like they need to eat. I think that is a habit for most Americans that needs to stop. If you don't feel hungry then don't eat. Make sure you don't starve yourself tho, if you are worried about it then just have a small snack like a yogurt.

People that are on here to lose weight are generally here because their body does not do a very good job of regulating when to eat. You need "X" number of calories a day. You need to make sure you eat that many calories to function properly. Part of this site, changing your lifestyle and eating better is to re-train your body on how to eat properly. "Only eat when you are hungry," and "Listen to your body," is honestly terrible advice, because that's how most people ended up in this situation to begin with.

You need to eat. If you don't feel up to eating now, you need to make sure you add those calories that your skipping into another meal later, so you still get the correct amount of calories for the day. Use your brain (you know you need to eat x number of calories to be healthy) to retrain your body, rather than relying on your body to magically change itself.
