how to track meals when working overnigts

i work overnights...so i was wondering how i should track the food. the nights i work i eat breakfast at 5pm, lunch at midnight and dinner at 4am. i was thinking just to track that under the day i start my shift since really i dont sleep till the next day. anyone have any experience in this or suggestions. i dont know if waking up say on monday i should track my breakfast under monday, but then my lunch and dinner under tuesday. im so confused!

    I log everything I eat before bed as one day. When I wake up the new day starts!
  • thats what i was thinking of doing, because it would be easier, and really the next day doesnt start until i wake up at 4pm!

    You can pre-log your food also, if that helps.

    I track from when I wake-up, usually 4pm, until when I get out of work which is 730am. Then I days off I just switch to a normal eating schedule to track. It has been working for me!

    Start with the first meal you eat after waking and make it your breakfast no matter what time it is. Follow the day until you go to bed. That should count as a day.
