Be true to yourself...

I find that I try and 'sneak' little snacks w/out recording them...thinking they aren't relevant! That's SO dangerous! Those are the calories that add up to going beyond how many you should have per day. Also, I have a hard time admitting what I actually weigh. Two years ago I weighed 215 lbs. One year ago I weighed 165 lbs. Today, I weigh 180.6 lbs. I convince myself that I only have gained 7 or 8 lbs in the last year...so today I am being 100% honest and saying I weigh 180.6 lbs. By being true to myself and admitting to myself where I really am I will be more motivated and more determined to not gain anymore!

This is an AMAZING post!! and something that I too struggle with EVERY day!! I'll eat a handful of peanuts thinking "they are just peanuts I'll burn this walking to my car later" but as my mother told me "You bite it, You Write It!" and I'm getting there. I use to weigh 220lbs (as an estimate, I stopped weighing myself when I saw 217 on the scale and I know I didn't do anything to lose). It has taken me forever to lose weight, mostly, I'll admit, because I lose my motivation or make an excuse for something. I always make excuses and I've had enough of it!!

I'm finally down to 160, I want to be at 130 by October 1st, I know it's a very difficult goal, but nothing is impossible if you really want it right ;) Here's to being TRUE TO YOURSELF and NO MORE EXCUSES!!
