Here's something my dad makes from time to time. It's a healthy and low-calorie alternative to those addictive potato chips!

INGREDIENTS:

1 bunch of kale

Some olive oil

Some salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat the over to about 350 degrees F.

2. Take some kale and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Wash throughly.

3. Place on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

4. Bake for about 10-15 minutes until crispy or edges are brown.

5. Munch time!

I would like to add if you have a dehydrator, Kale chips turn out amazing in the dehydrator.

They may look and sound a little weird, but they are great snacks. Crispy and seasoned however you want!

Sweet potato, potato, parsnip and carrots make good chips in the dehydrator too! I can never manage to make a good baked chip, they always turn out chewy and stick to the pan.

Try chips topped with black pepper, thyme, oregano and garlic salt too, yum.
