Restaurant work

I've been helping out at my friend's restaurant a few nights a week and I've been logging it as cleaning, light effort. Does that sound about right? I don't want to change my activity level, since it is fairly sporadic. I'm helping out with front of the house stuff, doing some hostessing, bartending, bussing; which includes a lot of lifting, walking, etc. It's a sweaty job, I never knew how rigorous working in a restaurant was.
The calories MFP says I expend for the 5-7 hours is through the roof; granted I don't eat them back, but I am curious if this is a good way to track it or if people have a better way.

I would say thats about right and you don't have to eat all of your calories back that day. I would eat a little more the day before and the day after and eat maybe 1/3 the day of. Hope this helps!0

To be hones, Iam curious to this as well. the caloric output MFP states for my activities and excercise always seems sky high to me. This the main reason I want a HR/calorie monitor.0
