I love reading everyone's success stories and pictures- they have been such an inspiration to me since I joined MFP so I thought I would share my own!!
For height reference, I am 5'2''
My heaviest weight was somewhere around 156 (before I joined MFP)
My original goal weight was around 130, and I got to 134 right before I went to Vegas in late June
This morning, I weighed in at 124.5 !! Here I am at around 127:
My new goal is somewhere around 120/119 (the weight I was my freshman year of college) and then we'll see from there!!
I NEVER thought I would weigh in the 120's again EVER! I am proof that you CAN succeed if you put your mind to it
Good luck guys!!!

I lost 10lbs from January-May without really trying to be honest. I got serious about losing weight in late May in preparation for Vegas and joined MFP at 144, so it took me almost 3 months to lose the 20 lbs.
I am OBSESSED with counting calories. I am on MFP several times a day, tracking everything I put in my mouth. I try to only eat veggies, fruits, lean protein, high fiber carbs.... of course, lately I have been cheating a little bit more since I made my original goal weight, but I still think it's really important to still log my indulgences I try to cook at home as often as possible so I know all the exact ingredients and amounts going in my recipes. I LOVE LOVE cookbooks and blogs for low-calorie recipe makeovers and ideas !!
I pretty much loathe the gym too, so I ride my bike to and from work when I can. Only a 1.5miles each way, but it adds up!! Also simple things, like taking the stairs instead of an escalator or elevator, walks after dinner, etc. I also don't eat extra for any exercise I do.
I'm hoping by September 1 to be 120 !!0 -
