Hello,
I've seen the new nutritional pyramid and it's based in cereals and grains which doesnt make that much senses for me, is it right to follow?
I think it will make people gain weight also because it recommends you to eat white bread and processed rice and stuff like that.
What do you think?

The point of the pyramid is a guideline. It doesn't actually say you have to eat white bread and processed rice. It just the food that fit into the grain category that most people eat. If you are wanting to 'follow' the pyramid, it's more important to find the food that fit into those categories and what you want to eat. Another thing is the pyramid, although can be used for weight loss is more about nutrients and not so much losing weight. It more useful is you're maintaining weight. But it just a guideline, you can adjust things as you need. This is based on the whole population and your individual needs may vary.0
