I really miss a good fish sandwich. I know how bad it is and I really still miss it. So today I decided to give it a try in remaking an old favorite into something more healthy and lower calorie.

I got some Shake and Bake (Parmesan )
Frozen Cod Filets
Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins
and your choice of condiments (can change calorie count)
But here is the 2 comparisons.
I baked the cod after shaking it in the coating for 25 minutes @ 375
Also, I only used 1/2 of the shake n back on 4 filets which means each filet had only 0.5 of a serving of the coating. Make sense?

This is so good really!
I had some suddenly salad (I don't use oil) and this sandwich and my whole meal was less than the one sandwich at BK!

That's awesome! I've been wanting a good fish sandwich for a while now. I refuse to give in to BK though. I work there and subsequently can't stand any of the food!

    Sounds delicious.
I take prepared tilapia filets, cook them up and eat them in a soft tortilla. Healthier fish tacos.

Oh sounds good! I use the La Tortilla 50 cal tortillas so I bet that would be one low cal/carb lunch! Great idea
