need help concerning excercise bike.

I'm feeling pretty desgusted tonight. I'm 58 years old, 5'1 and weigh 190. Wells thats just great(NOT) I had lost 60 lbs. A couple years ago. I was keeping it off too. Then I had to take in my great neice and nephew, and the Vast change in lifestyle caused me to put a bit back on.Now here I am trying to take off weight again, which is both frustraiting and Pathetic. I bought a new excercise bike, I like to pedal when I watch TV. Usually two hours an evening. Its the only reason I watch TV. I also do a ten minute intraval workout in the morning, which is pretty hard for me. I bought a recumbent bike because I
ve had two major bike surgurys. I try to strengthen my core rolling around on an excercise ball. My lower back is pretty weak,as are my knees and cant say my hips are great either. I also do alternating days of strength training for upper body. Everything I read says folks average 10 to 14 MPH.
Im lucky to do twelve miles in two hours. To get my heart rate to 115 my little legs are just flying. I was so desgusted I lowered my calories to 750 per day this week, and tried to burn calories so I could eat more. To make matters worse, My top , face, and arms will become tiny and skinny long before I get the lard off my bottom,and stomach. Sometimes I pedal 3 hours a day or longer. when I walk my back hurts. I susessfully stayed on my feet cleaning today for two hours. Back aching the whole while. So starving, enforced labor, and Pain. When I get off my excercise bike the dead nerve in my butt is stinging like fire. now I wish I had the upright bike.LOL I'm sure it would be a pain too. My excercise bike says I'd burn more calories cleaning the house! So whats going on and what should I do. Sincerely Thanks Jean
