OK LADIES!!! WE'RE HALF WAY THROUGH THIS CHALLENGE WITH ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT!! WE CAN'T LET WEEK 3 KICK OUR *kitten*, WE HAVE TO KICK AUGUST'S *kitten*!

AUGUST CHALLENGE WEEK #3: RISE OF THE MACHINES!
This is the week three team challenge. This should be done in addition to your normal workout
routine. This is a challenge and is not a replacement! If you need a beginner workout please contact
your team captain for ideas.

Day 1 Exercise Challenge - 50 Squat Kicks* and 3 sets of 12 Woodchops

Day 2 Exercise Challenge – 50 Military Presses + 1 Extra Mile jog, walk,run + 3 sets of 21’s

Day 3 Exercise Challenge – 200 Jumping Jacks + 100 Mountain Climbers + 20 Lunges

Day 4 Exercise Challenge – 3 sets of 21’s + 200 Jumping Jacks + 3 sets of 12 woodchops

Day 5 Exercise Challenge – 100 AB Crunches + 50 Burpees (Oh yes they are back) Up/Downs

Day 6 Exercise Challenge – Walk, run, swim, jog, bike 2 miles today. That’s it you’ve kicked your own
butt this week!

Day 7 Rest! You deserve it!

Week Three Weekly Team Challenge
Team Challenge as a team to do at least 4000 ab crunches for the week. This means each team member has to give us 210+ EXTRA ab crunches for this week!!!

KEEP TRACK OF YOUR DAILY CRUNCHES! WE NEED ABOUT 50 PER DAY FROM EACH MEMBER!!! WE GOT THIS! :)

    sweet mother of all things holy, are you trying to kill me!?! haha.. just kidding!!! Gonna be a tough week!! didn't lose anything last week, so maybe all this intenisty, combined with my normal routine, will help kick up the weight loss again!! LETS GO TEAM!!!

    This week will be better my knee has healed ( at least enough to do something only a dull ache)

    Looking forward to the burn!!!!!!

    Just finished my challenge moves--none of these are very knee-friendly----and did 40 crunches to add to the team total! I put them off all day long and by 8:45PM figured it was now or never so I got my butt up and took care of business! Go team!!!!

    PS I don't know what it is about the woman that does those exercise demos, I mean she's OBVIOUSLY in great shape and EXTREMELY fit, but I feel like I'm watching a porn star work out---just sayin' (I'm probably just jealous....then again, I don't get that creeped out feeling when I see Jillian or Chalene....)

    I've had 2 c-sections myself!!! I'm totally with you on this one...

    AND AS FAR AS TEAM RESULTS ARE CONCERNED:
    I haven't heard from HALF of our team and I'm not going to chase them around... Here it is Tuesday and NO response from them... I've messaged Gary about what to do because it's not fair to the rest of us to be waiting around for them.

    I know I've heard from a couple of you regarding the September challenge. I am going to be captaining again and need 7 more members for our team challenge for September. I know some of you I can count on!! :)

    catniss i know exactly what you mean, other people don't bother me but there was something about that woman!

    sorry we ended up with team member who don't follow through, hopefully september will be a better one!

    @bubbles--it's good to know I'm not alone with my perception!!!

    Today's challenge (Wed) is pretty intimidating--especially after doing my Jillian Michael's workout. 200 jumping jacks??? PLUS 100 mountain climbers??? PLUS---hmmm something else, gotta check my list oh yes and the crunches.
    I know that with so many MIA team members we're probably not one of the top competitors, but I'm still motivated to complete everything!
    Go team--keep on keepin' on!!!! And start jumping.....

    got today's challenges done--well, almost--I'm on my way out with the puppy for that extra mile. I looked at tomorrow's exercises and I want to know who thought it was a good idea to have 2 days in a row of 200 jumping jacks!!!!!!!

    Team - I haven't been my normal self this week. I haven't gone over in calories and I haven't been in the gym doing my normal workouts... HOWEVER, I have completed the challenges at home!! :) My weight loss will be minimal if anything at best! I'm hoping to really give it my all for the final week and then roll into September with LESS confusion and MORE motivation! :)

    Jill--the most important thing is to just be doing the best we can in the moment we are doing it, right??? As long as each of us is moving forward-even if just by inches-then we should be congratulating each other on our successes---think of all the folks out there who aren't doing anything at all to make themselves feel better!!

    I'm looking forward to the Sept challenge as well!

    I did today's challenges plus my bonus crunches plus 10 extra for the team.

    Glanced at tomorrow---100 crunches--whaat????? and 50 burpees??? If I'm not dead by the end of this challenge I'm going to be in great shape!
