Hey ya'll. Just getting started on MFP today.

Just finished week 1 of C25K. Anyone else following this program?

I am feeling great so far, but my legs have been hurting like crazy. I am using muscles I haven't used in forever! I also think I am going to repeat week 1, because as of right now I am having a really hard time even running the 60 seconds required for the first week. Anyone else had this problem? I guess I am really really REALLY out of shape.

Thinking about starting Zumba this week too, between running. Any opinions on Zumba?

So many questions! Hope to make some fitness buddies on here! :)

    Hiya and welcome! Yes, I recently started C25K, and there is a challenge group going on that you can join up, at any time! I didn't think I could do it, but it's progressive, which helps a whole lot!!
  • Hey....I knew I had to be your buddy when I saw the HEY Y'ALL! I'm from Mississippi. I am on Week 2 Day 1 of Couch to 5 K and have been using myfitness pal for about a month.....LOVING it!!! Add me as a friend if you want to!!! I am also doing Turbo Fire! It is really fun....great music!

    I'm not doing C25K, but Zumba is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend!

    Am not doing C25K, but am running! (Hal Higdon Program)
    It's been tough- I just started repeating weeks & bought new shoes to help with knee problems.

    I hear that C25k is a great program - you can do it!

    Have done zumba on my cross training days! It is so much fun!!

    I been on MFP about a month and started C25K last week and yes my knees and legs hurt too. But I've stuck with it and each day they hurt a little less. Also doing JM Ripped in 30 and that is a great work out. Feel free to add me as a friend and we can work on C25K together.
