What exercise should I do today?

It is my brother's birthday and I am stopping by on my way home from work to say hi to him. I meant to get him his present but I forgot it when I left for work this morning. Anyway, this will depend on if he wants to have dinner or not, I suppose. I can...
1. Walk in the mall on the way home, then do my little 20 min toning dvd at home after dinner. Difficulty: mall by my brother can be crowded.
2. Get a flashlight and walk after dinner on my outside, home route. Difficulty: May be too tired by then. Less likely to do the toning as well.
3. Step areobics before dinner (1/2 hr) on the platform at home and toning after. Prob. easiest as all indoors at home and less time (I would want to walk for about an hr if I walked). Difficulty: I probably should get away from doing the step areobics everyday because of my knees.
Bro will be watching the nephew while sil teaches her evening class, so he probably won't want to go out to eat (I hope).
