I have been slowly adding to my lifestyle change over the past few months by making small changes over time to my diet and exercise routines. I had 2 c-sections and an abdominal surgery in the course of 3 years, so you can imagine, my core is a mess. Yesterday, I took out my exercise ball and added crunches to my routine. Oh did they feel great! So great that I did about 150 of them before thinking that I may regret it today. Guess what? Today I am so sore! Any advice on stretches for those mucles? I don't ever remember - even in the good ole days where I was an exercise freak having these muscles sore.

I'm no expert, but cobra stretch and bridge pose help me. I also find that if I get busy doing something, I forget about the sore muscles, that is, until I laugh or need to get up from my desk... haha! If my muscles are extremely sore, I take a little ibuprofen and drink plenty of water.

    Keep up the great work!

i will look up the cobra stretch. I think I remember that one. It has been years since I have been able to do the bridge - who knows? Maybe I can do it again!

Awww, sorry, I have no idea how to fix them. But they do wear off and I think sore abs is a good thing.
