I am soooooo hungry

I just started on last Wednesday. It had not been hard at all until today. I woke up feeling like I needed to eat a sausage mcmuffin, hash browns and large orange juice. But I had what I was supposed to have. Well, now I am feeling more hungry. I just had my second snack. I am trying so hard to hold out. My husband is no help whatsoever. All he has to say is "I told you so". Will it get easier???? Will my body adjust ??????? Please say yes!!!!!!! Forgive me for the typos, I am so hungry that I can't see straight!!!!

  • Yes it will get easier, once your body and mind adjust to it. Make sure your eating a full healthy meal at meals times and have healthy snack through out the day. Don't starve your self!!! If you need to eat, then eat but just in moderation and a healthy choice.

    I'm not sure what time zone you are in or what you've eaten, but if you've had breakfast and 2 snacks should you be hungry? Make sure you are getting the right mix of carbs, protein and fat. I think a lot of people tend to skimp on fats when dieting but just a little fat can really curb hunger. If you've eaten enough of the right foods so that you shouldn't feel hungry, then it's probably psychological. And yes, that does get easier.

    it will get alot easier... u just have to have the self discipline to not give in.. im at a point that i don't want to eat junk food n if i do i feel sick.. i had messed up shifts 4am-6pm for 2 weeks n ran out of healthy food at home for breakfast so grabbed macdonalds chicken snack wrap(only thing open in my town at 4am..) n i felt sick all day... yesterday went to a bday party and they only had pizza and cake.. so i had 2 slices of pizza n thats it and i still felt sick for rest of night.. n it tasted like *kitten* to me..

    Make sure you are also drinking a lot of water!

    I agree with everyone. It does get easier and you should drink lots of water. I suggest drinking a cup of water first thing when you get up (before you eat.)

    May I ask how many calories you have been consuming daily and what your current weight is? It is also possible you are just not eating enough. Hungry happens but you shouldn't feel completely drained.

    Thank you all for the encouragement. I will pay attention to what I am eating and try not to starve myself. I will continue to eat healthy, yet filling snacks. Thanks again!!!!
