Good morning everybody, i wanted to put this invite out there if there is anyone in the Charlotte area that wants to get out and do some exercise for a great cause. Below is a little about why this is so personal for me and the link to my team page. Anyone who wants to join us please do it'll be a lot of fun and a great way to meet MFP friends. Thanks
Most of you know my Mom’s story but for those of you who don’t. She was diagnosed in September 2007 with Stage 4. After all of the surgeries and chemo and radiations she went cancer free until this summer and is currently awaiting diagnosis of the lung cancer that they found. This is an ongoing struggle for my family and very personal to me. Chances are in 10 years I will be fighting this same cancer it’d be great to find a cure by then… Till then my personal goal over the last year and a half has been to be the most healthy that I can be when that time comes. This race will fall on the weekend of my 37th birthday, I have now been smoke free for one year and six months and physically feel better than I ever have. I know that I am a better person and a better mother for it. Please join me in this fight for all the people out there that will battle this horrible disease..
