hey guys was just wondering how can i up my iron levels!!just changed the setting on my food diary and would really like some help with this..my daily goal is 100 and on some of my days ive only been getting 2-3!!!!

On a more positive note i lost 5lb this week :)

    my midwife told me to drink fresh orange juice with my meals as it helps your body absorb iron better??
    try eat more
    •dark-green leafy vegetables, such as watercress and curly kale
    •beans
    •nuts
    •meat
    •apricots
    •prunes
    •raisins

    Liver is another great source -- but most people don't like it :) I love it.

    My iron has always been lown and if yo'ure female and pre-menopausal you may not get enough from just food.
    I actually take a chewable iron + vitamin 60 every day. Vitamin C will help you absorb the iron ---- don't take it with your multi or calcium. I make sure that my multi-s don't have both iron and calcium in them.
