Hi all,
I'm a newbie to the vitamin scene...and i didnt know where to start off, so i went and got Natures Way Rest & Restore, Night Multi Vitamin for women.
Just wonderng if anyone has taken these...if they have, did you have any bad side effects? Did they help you?
Cheers

Vitamins shouldn't have any side effects! All they're doing is providing you with nutrition that you aren't getting enough of.0

not true my dear!
for example (actually, the only one I know) if you take too much potassium in vitamin form it can be really bad for you, whereas you can never have enough natural potassium through food sources! (learned that from another MFP'er)
It's definitely good to try to learn about what you're taking!
Unfortunately, I have no actual info re this thread, but would love to find out... I'm definitely looking for a better multi vitamin. Mine doesn't seem to be so multi0 -

That makes sense, but why would a multivitamin give you too much of a certain nutrient? I'm not trying to argue, I'm honestly curious.0 -

I have heard things about capsules being better aswell...they say, they get absorbed properly...unfortunately the ones i've started one are tablets...and huge ones too, lol.
Would you know how much Potassium in vitamin form is bad for you? Apparently there is 2mg in the ones i take. Thanks :-)0 -
2mg isn't much at all.
