So very close to goal

Hi! I'm about 5 lbs away from my original goal, though I'm going to go off how I feel with my body and the look of it.
I'm wondering if any of you survivors have some great tips you'd like to share about the last stretch. Was there something you changed/added that really aided you in shedding the last few pounds?
- Did you exercise fewer days of the week?
- I'm already assuming that more strength training is key.
- Did you set your calorie goal at maintenance, then exercise, and then not eat back the exercise calories so you could lose at a healthy rate?
- Did you change up your macro goals? I already have mine changed from MFP defaults - 55% carbs/20% protein/25% fat because I am not a huge meat eater.
Share your successes (and not-so-hot changes) with me! I want to lose this the slow and healthy way, just as I have been losing the other pounds the last 3 months.
Diary is open to public, if you're curious.

I'll offer some of my experiences later. But quickly, sister i hear ya'
My first month I dropped 10. Several months is a row after that i dropped eight.
I'm barely barely getting 1 pound a week and it feels like a life or death struggle.
(I guess in a way it is).
Here's to us both accomplishing, and doing it soon.

Try changing your "Lbs. Lost" thing to "Lbs. left to goal"0 -
I had to eat MORE calories when I got close. I kept working out like normal, and just didn't have as big of a calorie deficit, but my body started dropping those last few pounds! Sounds like you're doing great! Keep it up, and you'll be there in no time!0

I was thinking about changing my ticker!
Yeah, the first few months were easy, continuous losses. No gains. No plateaus.
And now for the past two weeks I am approximately the same weight, if not a little more for water weight.
I am definitely trying to eat more. I'm incorporating even more strength training. Drinking tons of water.
I will try to stay motivated for this last stretch of the first half of my journey! The second half is maintenance and keeping up with all these healthy habits.0 -
I've told myself over and over that "Really the hardest part is going to be maintenance." That is until I found out how hard the "last ten pounds," is
You can do it. (I can do it) Optimism, staying on track, give to others, and accept what they give back, and most
of all count calories and stay active.0
