I'm on day 3 level 1 of 30 day shred, and i'm looking for friends to help me through it and stop me from reaching for the biscuit tin!
I just need a little push in the right direction as i have a tendancy to give up at the first hurdle, any success stories welcome to get me inspired to carry on!

Thanks! ... im going to keep soldiering on, have you noticed a difference from doing the dvd? pretty scared about moving upto level 2 next week, i'm not acheing as much as i thought i would be, but i've been dieting for a little while now n barely shifted 2 pounds so i was looking for a little kick up the backside to keep me going!0

i did first day of level 1 today..i didnt die like i thought i would. Had an issue with my stretchy work out pants that apparently dont stay up with vigorous jumping...much to my daughters delight. Am scared to wake up in the morning and feel the sore muscles.0

I'm on Day 2 of Level 2 today. I kept seeing on here that everybody hated level 2 but I zipped through it yesterday and was ready to go again right after. Just keep up with it because you'll feel great about yourself once you accomplish level 1 and move on.
I've noticed that everything is a little bit more defined. I can feel muscles in places I haven't felt in yearssss. I've also become better at doing push ups and crunches after finishing level 1.
Can't wait to see the results at the end!0 -
I had a red hot bath straight after doing the shred, i think that may have helped my muscles recover and why i've not felt it as much the next day, as for the work out pants i know the feeling, i was not prepared for those jumping jacks! and certainly not prepared for my 2 year old to be running inbetween my legs and sitting on my belly through the sit ups. I'll be waiting until he is tucked up in bed tonight before i start.
Glad there's lots of us doing the shred its made me feel a lot better to know im not alone, good luck to everyone! keep me posted on how its going!0 -
I did day 2 level 1 today, I must say my calfs are pretty sore today. I have just added you to my friends0

Hi Tash
I am currently doing my second stint of the 30DS. I did it the first time round alone and lost 14llbs. I am doing it again, 3 months later with my partner, we did 6 days of level 1 and then moved up to level 2 we are currently on days 5 and we are now doing level 1 and 2 in one go, just to push ourselves. I lov ethe shred and so does my partner, after telling me he wasnt going to do it because it was "for women" haha, he is just as addicted as i am now. Its a great way to loe weight, build muscle and burn fat, leaves you feeling fulfilled i think! stick at it, the results speak volumes. Feel free to add me xx0 -
I'm on day 4 of level 1. So far, my weight has went down, up, up. Anybody else have that happen? I've gained almost 2 lbs I drink plenty of water, and eat about half to 3/4 of my exercise calories back. I'm hoping it's muscle (rawwr ;p) but 1.8lbs of it in 3 days? O.o0

Cowandmonkey - Wow 14 pounds that's brilliant, i'm hoping to lose about 12 so that sounds ideal, im definitely going to stick at it, my partner said he will start doing it with me aswell (i don't think he believes me how hard it is) so fingers crossed in a months time we will have lost our beer and takeaway bellies!
ashheart - i can only think that maybe muscle weighs more and you may have been toning up, have u seen any loss in inches? although yes 3 days is quite a short time, keep it up though and i'm sure you'll see a difference. from all the posts on here 30ds sounds like the best £5.68 i have ever spent0 -

I did the same thing. Your muscles are just holding on to water trying to heal from the workouts. Give it another week or so it will go away.
I finished it about a mth ago and though I didn't lose any weight I lost 2 inches around my waist, an inch off of each arm and an inch and a half around my thighs. Level 3 is AWESOME! Definitely my favorite level and where I saw the most results. Good luck!0 -
Hi all
I am starting level 3 tonight! Made it through level 1 and 2 so now 10 days on L3 - then as an extra punishment - 5 days of BFBM0 -
Thanks Tash and Danielle, now I know I'm not alone lol. I will say, my legs are getting buff already. So you're probably absolutely right0

She is indeed awesome and truely inspired me to find the will when i feel like giving in, she no longer irritates me with her shouting but makes me feel as if i have so much more to give, her other dvd;s are incredible to i have a lot to thank her for x0

I also enjoy the way she picks on Natalie in Level 2. Not in a mean way but this level seems a lot more playful which helps me bust through those last few in each circuit.0

I just finished Level 1 Day 2. Over the last 3 weeks this would actually be Day 10 but I wanted to start over with the counting and try and actually do it everyday but Sunday. lol I'm doing the C25K and finished Week 5 Day 2 today also, and since I'm doing that along side of 30 day shred I decided I would give my body a break on Sunday even though I think you are supposed to do it everyday. Good Luck everyone!!!0
