Loving Barcode Scanning

I think one of the things that makes it more difficult for me is the amount of time it takes to type everything in sometimes. The last couple of days I have been using my iphone to scan the barcodes of the foods as I pack my breakfast and lunch. It's super simple and sooooo easy. I just scan and verify the calories on the screen match the package. There's very little follow up and I'm done. Voila!
I'm hoping this method makes it easier for me. I'm trying to find the right method, for me.
What I've really found works for me is to plan what I am and eating and input that so that I know what my calorie consumption looks like before I am actually eating anything.
Now to just master dinner.

I agree. I was thrilled when they added the feature to the iPhone version of the app. I was starting to feel left out, lol.0

Yes, I love the barcode scanning too. It makes it so much easier. Sometimes it would have to scroll for a while until I found the right food, and now if it has a bar code, it does it for me. Love the improvement!0
