Hey MFPers!

I wanted to see how many people were coming out to the 31st annual Terry Fox Run (September 18, 2011) and where in Canada and around the world are people running?

The Terry Fox Foundation is one of the few that sends most of the funds raised to actually finding a cure (85% of every dollar). The run is free to register, no minimum raise goal and is a lot of fun for the whole family! Walkers, runners, cyclers and dogs are welcome at most run sites and festivities range from a few hours to the whole day.

I am excited about my run in Forest Hill - there are so many options from 2km through 10km walking, running, riding and pups! There is a BBQ, bouncy castles and more!!! I can't wait.

I am hoping to see a number of fellow Canadians join the discussion and get active at their local Terry Fox Run!
