There is a recipe that instead of using oil and eggs in a browniemix that you use a can of black beans. Has anyone done this with dark red kidney beans? I dont have any black beans, but would like to try the recipe. So how was it?

 I have only ever used the black beans and it's really good for when you have cravings.

I actually tried this a while ago... I wouldn't use kidney beans, because their taste is different, so it might not be as easy to "cover" the beany taste. The black bean taste was masked by the cocoa and instant coffee in the recipe I used. But I would also add more vanilla and more coffee, because there still was a slight bean taste. Also, the texture was a little like fudge. Not bad, just a bit different.
