Entered my weight as of this morning onto the site, and after kindly congratulating me, MFP said that it had been 10 pounds since I reviewed my goals. Did I want to do that now? Yes.
Checked out my goals. Yes, same level of activity. Yes, I want to lose 1.5 pounds per week. BUT....
Instead of a 1510 calorie/day budget I now have a 1400 calorie per day/budget. That's because of the weight I HAVE lost...I now have to eat less to lose more.
That may not sound all that significant of a change, but it basically means I've been over my calorie budget for who knows how long. And as I lose more, that budget is going to shrink along with me!
Time to get into new habits: pump up the veggies in the menu and reinsert cardio into my work day so I can earn back a few calories. That way when I get to a 1200 cal/day budget, I'll be ready!
If you have not revisited yoru goals lately, have lost but are losing slower than expected, you might want to reviisit the numbers and see if they've changed.

Mine is already at 1200 so hopefully that won't happen to me.
Congrats on the weight loss!0 -
using the 1, 1.5, 2 pounds loss per week is different depending on how much weight u're trying to lose. I read that somewhere on this site... (i cant remember the forum now)
i cant remember the breakdown now (i hope someone can)... but your goal of 1.5 pounds per week should actually also be adjusted down to 1 pound per week now. (looking on your ticker, it says u have about 30 to go)
EDIT:
AHHH, found it...
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/186814-some-mfp-basics
20 lbs or less to lose: .5 lb loss per week
20 - 50 lbs to lose: 1 lb loss per week
50 – 75 lbs to lose: 1.5 lb loss per week
75 lbs or more to lose: 2 lb loss per week0 -

Thanks...actually, I DID change down to 1 lb per week to see what effect it would have, and the calories didn't really change all that much. But hey, I'm following the guidelines...thanks for sending them along!0
