Finally introducing myself

Hi all!
I've been using my itouch for MFP for some time, but I've recently been using my laptop and decided to introduce myself in the message boards. My name is Heather and I'm a 25 (soon to be 26) year old teacher in the New England area. Over the course of undergrad, drum corps, and getting my masters degree, I've put on a lot of weight. I currently weigh around 196lbs. For my bone structure, a healthy weight for me would be 145-150lbs. I've been unsuccessfully dieting on and off and I'm trying to use MFP for support as well as putting down what I eat and the activity I do. My goal is to lose 50 pounds before I get married (about 2 or so years from now). I'm looking forward to making some friends, support, and making some major changes to slim down and live a longer, healthier life!
