Ok, so the scales from the sales arrived today, and I found what I felt was the most even piece of floor in this rickety old house. I didn't have a scale, but at the Dr's visit in March I was 105k, and I had dropped a dress size since then, so 35 days ago I logged in for the first time, and set my weight at 100k - it was a guesstimate. Since then I have certainly lost something, as my waist has dropped 3.5 inches. The beautiful sleek new shiny scales are saying 101k though, so what do I do? Just re enter my current weight as 101? So after 35 days I have gained a kilo? Joke, I know I haven't, I know I'm losing, but shall I alter my stats?

This is the scale you will use everyday to weigh yourself so you should use the number it is giving you. Remember, it's not the hard number that counts, but the relative movement. If you know you want to lose 20k, Who cares if the scale says 95k or 101k today? you just need to lose 20k from whatever the number is.
Next time you go to the doctor, come straight home and weigh yourself (or weigh right before you go) and then you will know the relative difference between the two scales.0 -
Thank you Mark, 'tis done. I also bought a kitchen scale - so it's precision from here on in0
