WOW! Walk at Home!!

I have been searching for videos to pump up my exercise routine, and well...make it less routine.

Scale of 1-5

"Dancing with the Stars" 1 for exercise 3 for learning dance steps.

"10 Minute Solution" 2-3 stars. There is no transition if you want to do the full 50 minutes, but pretty good for the 10 minute workouts

"Slim in 6" 5 love all the workouts, but hate her breathing.

"Crunch Cardio Dance Blast" 1 didnt like it at all.

"Dancing to the Oldies" Richard Simmons...wont rate it. (anybody want it??)

"Biggest Loser" 4 I really love the work out and it may become a 5 when I can do those lunges!!!


"Walk Slim" by Leslie Sansone. BIG 5. You walk 4 fast miles with markers. It was easy to follow, got my heart rate up, had intervals to hopefully brake this damn plateau, the music was good, and she did not irritate me!!:laugh: big 5

Walk Slim is my new favorite work out!! I think anyone could do this...new you can walk 1/2 beats, higher intensity you can jog.

What videos or workouts do you guys like?

    Im a Cathe Friedrich fan....got alot of her workouts. There challenging and she's funny! Most of my workouts are hers:smile:

    I love the 30 day shred. I shred as much as I can. I think I was the BL cardio next. :drinker:

    Ohmigosh Jeannie you are just now discovering Leslie Sansone? I feel that I have let you down my friend...Leslie is my favorite home exercise program too...I have like a dozen of her discs...I would have told you about her DVDs if only I had known that you weren't aware of this AWESOME workout!

    Richard has a good video! I have had it for years so it is on VHS..got a VCR my friend, I will gladly mail it to you!! He is so uplifting!

    I am so stoked to have a DVD I really enjoy! I know a workout is a workout and Sin6 is awesome...but I like to smile and work out at the same time.

  • What is the walk slim and where can it be found. To try to make my walks on the treadmill not such a bore I have strapped my dvd player on it, and I watch movies in 30-45 min. intervals....but music always make me move a little faster.

    Oh no, this is a video. Leslie Sansone walks you thru intervals with leg kicks and such. It is a wonderful variation from my normal walk/jog at the park or in the neighborhood!

    I bought it at Walmart for $15 and it came with a pedometer!

    She has alot of different workouts,no walking ones though!:ohwell:

    she has Step aerobics,weightlifting, kickboxing,stretching, hi/low .

    Glad to hear your enjoying your new workout....

    I love richard..His videos are so fun.. Right now I cant do them. I had my hip resurfaced and was told no dancing, running for a year. Ive been looking for another video to do perhaps I will try the walk slim. I need something to get my butt in gear..thanks everyone

    I am sooo with ya on the Leslie Sansone dvds! I love her laugh:happy: and her workout walks are great! They have saved me so far on those coooold snowy mornings I cant get out.

    I use the 30day shred and Tae bo 8 min workout doubled. Thats about it here! haha And some Zumba now and then
