Hi my name is Kristen, I am a mother of 2 wonderful kids and I have been struggling to lose weight for the past 4 years. Every time I start I get on a roll for like a month and then something happens that makes me miss a day of working out or I eat something bad for a meal and then I get really discouraged and I quit. But I'm really tired of being this way, and after walking my daughter to school today I know I need to change my lifestyle and get back into shape! It's only half a mile to get to the school, so for each round trip it's a mile, which means just by taking my daughter to school all week I will be walking a total of 2 miles per day, so even if I decide not to work out at home, I will at least be forced to get a workout with the school! But I was so tired when I reached the school, and I live in Phx so it's really hot out, and my face was so red and I was soaked with sweat, which I wouldn't mind if I was going out on a walk just to exercise, but when it's a simple stroll to the school and NO ONE else is sweating like me, it's pretty embarrassing. :embarassed: So here I am! Would like some friends for support, I have no one in my life that lives around me that I can go through this with, so I figure MFP is the next best thing, so if you're up for it, go ahead and add me please :smile:
