Does anyone know what Endomondo is? Is it better than a HRM?

I have it as an app on my phone. For me it just tracks how much distance I have gone (on a walk or run), and gives me an estimated calorie burn. I do not know how accurate it is though because I do not have a HRM.
I like it because I can see where / how far I have gone. It does not make up for the accuracy in the calorie burn though.
I am also not sure if it has any features beyond mileage tracking.0 -
Endomondo is an application for Android and iPhone that tracks work outs. I will track the stats of your workouts for the duration. It can be used with or with out a Bluetooth HRM. However, it does not fully use the features of the HRM to accuratly calulate calories burned. SportsTrackLive is similar to Endomondo burt takes full advantage of a Bluttooth HRM.
Either way, it is a good application for tracking workouts stats but just not accurate for calories.0 -
Fro what I just read it is mainly for walking, running, cycling. Not sure how accurate it would be compared to having your own personal HRM to record your own HR0
