i need to get my body toned. what do you do to achieve this. i lift weights but how much should i be lifting and for how long? what are my other options?

    for ladies who want to tone and get lean muscle it is recommended to do more sets with lighter weights.
    for example rather than 2 sets at 20 lb weights, do 4 sets with 5 lbs... depending on what you are comfortable lifting.

    i do side lifts for my obliques 15 each side 2 or 3 sets depending how i feel at 8lb weights
    i don't do much with weights. you should try yoga or pilates moves, they use your own body weight basically
  • Try "The Firm" workouts, i love them and they are geared towards women, plus you can get them for like $2 at Job Lot!

    3 sets of 12, the last 2 reps should be difficult. Try to hit every muscle group. If you are efficient you can do a whole body workout in 40min or so.

    30-60 second is what I've read.
