Today I jogged 1km then walked 0.25 then jogged another 1km, then walked another 0.25km. Jogged 2km, walked 0.5km! Yay! Most yet!

I always feel so bad since you all run miles!! Like 5 or 6 a day! Which is like what? 10km?? Sheesh! haha

All this week I hope to be posting here. We decided to try and get out every morning.

Cheer up Carrie, you will get there someday. You just have to keep at it. (Yes, 6.2 miles is a 10K).

No running for me this morning. I did a 3 mile trail run yesterday afternoon in the blistering cold. Man was it windy and cold. Going to the chiropractor this afternoon so I may do a weight training class tonight at the gym.

    Have a great run everyone.

Wasn't it brutal out there yesterday? I went to the lake for my long run, which wasn't too bad until I tweaked my stupid knee. Owie is all I can say about that - but being the stubborn person I am, I was determined to at least walk the rest of my long run, which was another 8 miles. :noway: Needless to say, I have never, ever been colder in my whole entire life. It was so bad, I was wishing for a park ranger to drive by to take me to my car. Ugh. I was so woozy and out of it yesterday - it was almost scary. I don't think I'll be running the lake any time soon. That treadmill at the warm gym looks better and better the deeper we get into this crazy winter.

Congratulations on the running:smile: and just remember kilometers is a bigger number. You ran 2.5k or about 1.5 miles. The 2.5 number is bigger so I would go with that. My wife and I walked about 4 miles last night or about 6.5k I just have to keep telling myself that a few months ago that was a really long way.

For the first time in this thread, I can actually post as a runner, rather than an elliptical junky and runner wannabe!!!!

I ran a slow-and-easy mile and a half yesterday for the first time in 2 1/2 months. It felt GREAT!!!! In the cold, wind, snow, and all! I'm hobbling a little today, but it doesn't take much running to make me happy. I may try it again in a couple weeks.

    Happy dance!!!!

I was out at the lake on Saturday morning for another trail run. It was kinda cold then. We didn't run the regular path though. One of these days we will have to meet up for a run.

Hi Y'all! I got a nice 5.75 miles in today at a steady pace of 7.0 miles per hour. It felt great. I'm contemplating signing up for the Miami 1/2 marathon at the end of January... haven't decided yet.
