just started mfp about a week ago. i have my settings as sedentary as i technically was but doing some sort of workout now do i change it to lightly active or moderate? also it looks like i am going to have a 5-6 pound loss this week, weigh in is tomorrow. i wonder if i exercise a little less this week yet stay in the caloric and fat range set for me will my weightloss lessen, stop or pleateau. too many questions i need to just wait and see i suppose.

I used the activity setting as it pertains to my work day. As I sit on my *kitten* in a chair for 8 hours a day, I claim sedentary even though I work out like a fiend when I get home.0

If your regular daily routine (work/home) doesn't have much activity in there, keep your setting at sedentary.
Then when you workout, add this to your diary and your calorie allowance goes up.
Alternatively you could change your activity setting to "lightly active" and nit add the extra workouts.
Whichever way you do it, your daily calorie allowance needs to increase if you are more active.
And don't be surprised if your weight loss levels out after a few weeks, it seems pretty common to lose a lot at first then it will become less.0
