So i've basically tried eating every calorie amount, from 600 (which, yes, I know it's waaayyy too low) to 1700 calories a day, and nothing seems to be working! I'm not trying to lose a lot of weight, I'm 5'5" and, right now I weigh 125ish lbs. I'd like to be about 117 as soon as I can without starving myself. I'm a 15 yr old girl and I exercise pretty regularly (I try for 75 minutes, 3-4 days a week. But I don't track that because its kind of a pain in the butt to do so). I just want to know around how many calories I should be eating every day. Thanks, in advance for your help!!

Being that you are not overweight, but actually at a very healthy weight for your age and height I would suggest you speak with a Dr. if you have concerns about your weight.
I have 2 daughters and would not want either of them "dieting" at the age of 15, nor would I be ok with non-health professionals giving them suggestions on how to lose weight when they did not need to.
I don't mean to sound harsh, it saddens me that young girls seem to think they need to be "thin" when they are healthy and beautiful the way they are.

You're at a good weight for a teenage girl. Keep up your physical activity and your Basal Metabolic Rate (the amount of calories you burn daily doing regular activities) should still keep your weight at a normal level.

Are there any BMR calculators more reliable than the one on MFP, or are there any that are particularly good? It seems like each one gives me a different number :ohwell:
