What do you think about full body workouts?

Is it better to do a split routine or does it not matter as long as you are getting the exercise in? Any advice is appreciated.

The thing that matters most in a workout is intensity. A 30 minute intense workout is better than an hour moderate workout. The longer you keep your heart rate up, the better stamina and endurance you are building, and the more results you will see.0

I do one upper body and one lower body workout with my trainer each week, and then i do two full body workouts on my own....it is good to mix things up every few weeks.....
In the end of the day the important thing is that you are training......0 -
like what . . . swimming? X-country skiing? surfing?
They rock! Love 'em! Get out of the gym and have fun people! Fresh air is good for the soul!

Depends how much time you have each day and each week. If you time every day for weights then a well designed split program will target more muscles, BUT if you're have time limits a good whole body routine will be good too.0

Are we talking weights? I've read that you need to hit each muscle group twice a week to see improvements. So what I've done in the past is one day lower body, one day upper body, and one day full body.0

I don't really like splits, though I do them often.
I think its much better to do a full workout.0
