Could someone please tell me what bump means? I have seen it in numerous posts and am curious. Thanks!

It will save it to your "my topics". If you want to come back later to see what people have to say on a topic

It's an annoying and ridiculous thing to do. I want to read real responses, not scroll through "bumps" from people who are too lazy to save the link into their favorites. Just create an "MFP" favorites folder in your browser and save your favorite threads into there...

Each to their own! What's convenient to you, may not be for others.

Right, because it takes so much time to see the word "bump" and move on to the next comment, lol. For people who access MFP on various computers and mobile devices, simply saving the link to their favorites folder doesn't do any good. Would you rather that they make some frivolous comment that adds nothing to the conversation and is an even bigger waste of your time?

It kinda makes me giggle when someone is "irritated" by the word "bump"... but I gotta say I LOVE THIS IDEA... from now on, instead of saying "bump"... I'm going to say "Insert Frivolous Comment Here!"
