So I recently purchased a Polar F6 for myself and one for my mother also. I'm QUITE content with it.
I originally wanted to get one because I had noticed that the general consensus of the board was that the machines overestimate your calorie burn and you might be overeating because of the misinformation. Well, I found out that the machines were underestimating my caloric burn by nearly 200 calories!!
I could've eaten all of those! So now I'm wondering if I will be gaining weight if I eat my calories now due to the fact that I've been in starvation mode.
How confusing. Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that there really is a HUGE difference in each person's burn versus what the machine reads and what's really happening.
Thanks Polar for enlightening me!
