Eating more calories?

So I upped my calories (to lose .5 lb/wk rather than 1 lb/wk) since I'm no longer making any progress and haven't for about a month (I only have about 5-10 lbs to lose) but I'm having trouble eating healthy AND eating all of my calories. Should I not eat as healthy? For instance, I planned out all of todays meals and I have about 436 calories to eat and I plan on running this evening. But that's a lot of food! I couldn't even finish my breakfast this am! I planned on eating eggs, cottage cheese and oatmeal, but only got as far as the oatmeal. Should I just sit down with a jar of peanut butter?!?!

Stay diligent! It will happen! I personally cant eat anything else when i have oatmeal, so i usually put nuts and fruit in it, but its so filling its all i can do. You may need to try that. Then on a different day, do a piece of whole grain toast, cottage cheese and 1 egg. I tend to do well that way ( just had it this morning ). Oatmeal is a very filling meal and you may be asking too much of yourself to eat more than oatmeal in one sitting.0

Well I can only eat oatmeal so often, so that's no problem there. But I still have 436 calories not including exercise calories! I'm supposed to be eating more to tell my body that it's NOT STARVING but I'm having trouble eating all those calories... I'm not sure what I'm going to eat when I get home. I'm making pizza in portabello mushrooms for dinner, but how do I fill up the extra 500+ calories! Ice cream? Peanut butter? Reach for the Nutella...?0

Hmmm ... problem solved! Raspberry dark chocolate smoothie! I'll drink my calories! Then fresh fruit/veg juice or a protein shake!0

You could check out my diary if you like. I m not saying I m perfect, but i do eat all day and kind of have a handle on snacking. I get low blood sugar though, so I m used to eat. Also not just my diary, check out other peoples diaries and see what they are eating. I get ideas from them all the time.0

To help go for healthy stuff but the full fat version not low fat. That will help with not having to stuff your face just to get your calories in haha. and it can still be good for you stuff0

It's really not hard. Put that turkey patty on a bun and drink a glass of milk before bed and you'd be there.0
