Daily goal?

My daily goal says 1200. So should I eat more than that if I exercise? Say I burn 300 calories, I don't really want to eat my exercise calories but does 1200 mean I should eat 1500 calories a days so then I'll only be eating 1200 calories really for the day? Cause if I eat only 1200 for the day and then I burn 300 calories I'm in starvation mode and I don't want to do that! I want to lose weight! So do I need to be eating a little bit more calories to make sure I've still eaten 1200? Thanks!

I've heard that you shouldn't eat your exercise calories if you are trying to lose weight. If you are wanting to maintain your current weight, than yes, you should eat your exercise calories..hope that helps0
