Negotiating Prices for Personal Training

Hello All!
I've heard from a few people that the prices for personal trainers, especially one's through a gym, can be negotiated. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with that. I want to get the best price I can, but be fair to the trainers, and I definitely want them to work really hard with me, so any advice on haggling for a trainer is very appreciated.
Thanks!

I worked in a personal training studio for a few years and our rates were defiantely NOT negotiable. You ultimately chose how many days/how often you worked out but the price itself didn't change.0
