New and time to get real

Hi,
I'm Sarah. I'm 32 and live in Allentown PA. Over the last three years I have gained 25lbs. I have since lost 5 of them but I"ve pretty much been at this weight for about a year now. It seems like no matter what I do, I can't lose weight. I even quit drinking and haven't lost weight! However, I put in my food for yesterday with my exercise and I was around 1500 cals for the day rather than 1300 cals for the day, although this isnt' a huge amount it could be the difference between me losing and me staying the same. So, I'm going to start tracking my calories and exercise for a while to see where I can make some changes. I have started running and am thinking about training for a 1/2 marathon next spring (gulp!). So perhaps the added exercise and the attention to calories will get the scale moving in the right direction! Please feel free to friend me and I hope to be a regular on the boards.
